1. Read the theory box and compare the two columns of the table. Pay attention to the words in bold, compare them and formulate the rule how to make up a sentence in reported speech.
2. Exercise 1 page 140. Answer the questions how tenses and pronouns in English change from direct to reported speech. Report the quotations in exercises 1.
3. Read Grammar reference13-14. Learn how to use the words tell and say  then do exercise 2 page 140.
4. Exercise 3 page 140. Write the sentences in reported speech.
5. Exercise 4 page 140. Study the examples of reported questions and do the exercise.
6. Homework - exercise 5. Rewrite the questions in reported speech.
